Briefing by First Minister's Official Spokesperson (FMOS)
FMOS welcomed journalists to the briefing and outlined plans for the following day’s Stage Three debate on the Referendum Bill.
To mark the release of the latest Labour Market Statistics, out earlier this morning, the FMOs advised that the Finance Secretary John Swinney will visit the Waverley Court Business Centre where he will announce the publication of ‘Scotland CAN DO’ backed by £3 million of Scottish Government funding to encourage a new age of entrepreneurship across Scotland.
FMOS also flagged that Transport Minister Keith Brown would announce £200,000 additional funding for Veterans Scotland to velop new and improved support packages to help veterans across the country.
Finally, FMOS highlighted that Energy Minister Fergus Ewing would make a statement to the Scottish Parliament on Electricity Market Reform.
