The Minister for Sport, Health Improvement and Mental Health Jamie Hepburn, standing in for the Cabinet Secretary for Health, updated cabinet on patient waiting time statistics with 97.1 per cent of inpatients and day-case patients being treated within 12 weeks with most boards effectively delivering the treatment time guarantee.
Cabinet was also updated by Cabinet Secretary for Infrastructure Keith Brown following the publication of the Audit Scotland Report into the purchase of Prestwick airport.
The FMOS also highlighted a media event by the Cabinet Secretary for Infrastructure to highlight the £1.5 billion of infrastructure projects set to be completed this year in advance of the debate on infrastructure in parliament this day.
